If you’re new to gardening, you should make a plan for your garden before you buy any plants. Planting haphazardly is strictly a hit or miss proposition. You might get lucky, but more likely than not, you’ll lose a lot of plants and give up in frustration.

In one year, the average human produces enough urine to fertilize 6,300 tomato plants in just one season. That fact makes me want to run outside every time I feel the need and drench my vegetable patch.
